Today was a packed day. Carly and Katie were scheduled for their annual haircuts at
11am. I owed each of them one more
lunch date so we decided to leave the house first thing in the morning and hit
up our favorite breakfast joint in Auburn. The Sunbreak Café never disappoints. We ordered two full omelets knowing
that we’d be able to take home plenty of leftovers to enjoy again later.
Both had several inches cut off their hair.
We weren’t home long before Abigail, Carly and I
took off for some much anticipated (on their part) back to school
shopping. Carly had compiled a
list of all the back to school supplies each kiddo needed, taking out anything
we already had at home. Our first
stop was Wal-Mart. My girls LOVE
shopping for school supplies. Not
that we’re picking out anything particularly exciting, but even just selecting
which color of three-ring binder to get is fun to them.
Next stop was the mall in Tukwila where we had a
few returns to make. The girls
also had a short list of clothing stores they wanted to pop into. Crazy how long visiting just a few
stores can take! Apparently
multiple hours at the mall weren’t enough so we also went to Kohl’s and Target,
then another Target on the way home.
Eight hours of shopping didn’t even faze these two!
