Another middle school soccer season in the books
for Carly. The seventh and eighth
graders played together (the sixth graders have their own teams) – Carly was
one of only three seventh graders to make the varsity team this year. She was excited about that and ended up
getting lots of playtime as a defender and even earned player of the week
during the season.
Our winter season has been rough this year. Several days of snow and lots of
rain. Two games ended up being
cancelled due to snow and Carly missed two additional games because of vacation
and a dentist appointment we couldn’t move. So of the original eight games scheduled – in the end she
only played in four.
Her school got new turf fields over the summer so
that’s a nice change.

Jason played basketball again this year and we’ve
already signed him up to play in a spring league as well. He continues to improve his game and was
one of the strongest on his team.
