School doesn’t get out here until the end of June – crazy concidering our summers are so short. Although they are short, the summer in Seattle is gorgeous and the weather couldn’t be better. Most days are in the high 70’s or low 80’s and we usually get very little rain.
This year summer seems to be a little slower in coming… last Sunday we had a rare thunderstorm … that’s hail covering our backyard!
Today we went wiht some friends to “Auburn Kid’s Day.” There are several inflated rides/slides and lots of crafts and activities for the kids to do – all free. Unfortunately we got rained out… me and the girls had to hike back to our car in the pouring rain. Being eight months pregnant, I don’t move very fast these days. We were drenched by the time we got to the van. It was still a fun day.
Abigail's favorite part of today was getting her face painted. She choose a butterfly on one cheek and a rainbow on the other.
The picture above is Carly performing a back flip. The coach asked Carly where her Mom was because apparently she's a natural and should really be enrolled in gymnastics.
