More Visitors!

We consider ourselves lucky anytime we have family come visit. It doesn't happen often - at most once a year, but this year... my sister Brenda visited us in March, my little brother Ray and his two kids in April, and the first weekend in August my other sister Robyn and her daughter Brynn came up. Robyn's husband was attended a training in Seattle so she stayed in the city with him, but Brynn stayed with us a few nights and we got to hang out with Robyn a few days as well.

Saturday we ventured into Seattle to see the Blue Angels perform during SeaFair. Justin's taken the kids a few years in the past but this was my first year. We found a spot on Lake Washington and set up an umbrella to try to stay cool - it was a hot day. 

Next time we decided we'll bring swimsuits and tubes if it’s hot and sit in the lake instead.

Katie seemed to enjoy watching the planes, but she didn’t like it when they got really loud.

Robyn headed back to the Seattle to spend the weekend kid-free and we took Brynn with us to a party at the home of a broker Justin has refinanced with (and is refinancing with again). I felt a little weird showing up at someone's party I hardly knew, but it ended up being really fun for the kids. There was a bouncy house, pony rides, a petting zoo, and all you could eat popcorn, cotton candy, popsicles, and drinks. They even had a taco truck there. Justin has referred lots of people to this guy so I didn't feel at all bad taking full advantage of all the party had to offer.

Monday afternoon Robyn and her husband Scott came to Snoqualmie to spend the evening with us. We went to Snoqualmie Falls, ate pizza at the house, then hung out at Rattlesnake Lake. The kids loved mowzing around the lake in tubes. Abigail and Jason also enjoyed playing catch and frisbee with the adults.

It's always fun to see family and spend time with cousins. We're excited to see them again next summer!
