Some friends invited us to join
them during break at Elevated Sportz, an indoor trampoline park in
Bothell. I knew the kids would
LOVE it and their enthusiasm was quickly confirmed when I mentioned it to the
girls just before they were going to bed the night before. It took them a while to stop chatting
long enough to fall asleep. Justin
is always leery of trampolines since he broke his arm as a child while jumping
on a trampoline and sent us off with a warning that if anyone broke any bones they’d
never touch foot on a trampoline again. :)

The foam pit was lots of fun
for the kids
The kids were old enough that they
could jump on all the various trampolines and trampoline sport courts, but
there was also a huge play structure that Jason and Katie could enjoy. Think a McDonalds playland times five,
lots of fun levels, tubes, and slides to explore.
Just as we were getting ready
to leave Abigail asked me to come videotape her little trick. Our level of gymnastic skill is pretty
low here so I was impressed.
I was glad we went. Not really the most fun for me and
Drew, but the ‘big’ kids had a blast and were able to burn lots of energy with
friends.
The rest of winter
break was busy with dentist appointments – which always means shopping in
Auburn (Walmart, Sam’s Club, etc…), the girls played with friends, Carly had a
well child checkup, the girls made lots of loom band creations, Abigail had a
few basketball practices, piano, etc… not a very relaxing week, but the kids
had a fun break.
