Bowling with the Tolman Family (Nov 25)

Way back before we were married with five kids, Justin and I were just two BYU students who found themselves in the same ward at the start of the summer of 1998.  We hung out with the same group of friends all summer long.  One of Justin “Fletcher”s closest friends was Justin “Tolman”.  We’ve kept in touch with Tolman all these years.  Tolman came up here when we blessed Abigail nearly 14 years ago, and Fletcher attended Tolman’s wedding in Oregon back in 2004, but it wasn’t until last month that we finally got reunited.  Tolman’s wife’s sister recently moved to the area and they came up for Thanksgiving weekend.  We were so glad to be able to spend an afternoon with them.  We met them for lunch at where else? Chick-fil-A and then we went bowling at Lucky Strike in Bellevue.

It was seriously as if it hadn’t been over a decade since we’d last visited.  It was my first time meeting Libby though we follow each other on Facebook so we weren’t complete strangers.  We had a wonderful time and I’m sure if they lived in the area we’d spend lots of time with their family.
