It wouldn’t be a proper family
reunion without some sort of take home craft. My Mom brought white placemats for everyone to decorate with
paint and markers. At first I didn't think I'd create anything, but it
looked too tempting to pass up.
Guessing jars are another family
reunion tradition. Drew once again
won – this time a large jar of jelly beans.
The Gardners also seems to win each year. Emily scored the jar of tootsie rolls.
We had a huge water balloon fight
at the park this afternoon. Two different family members had brought
large kits of self-tying water balloons. Super easy to fill up.
It started as a friendly water balloon
volleyball activity then unsurprisingly turned crazy.
Robyn and my Mom and hidden big
water squirters that took things to a whole other level.

Today we also learned how addictive
my family members can be - Pokémon Go became a hot topic and with enough family
members on the app they were able to collect and conquer quite a bit over the
week.
Here some of them are talking Pokémon
strategy.
I have no doubt it would have been
something I'd enjoy, but I also know my addictive/competitive personality and I
joked with my kids that I'd no longer feed them if I downloaded the app.
