We went on a family hike a few weeks ago. We decided to try someplace we’d never
been. Katie wanted nothing to do
with getting strapped into the backcarrier we bought last fall. We forced her in it anyhow (man, that
girl is strong). However, she
remained hysterical so we let her walk.
It didn’t take long to realize the path we were taking wouldn’t
get exciting for another 10+ miles when it joins with a decent trail. So we turned around and went to the
outlet mall to look for some new shoes for Abigail instead.
