We went hiking with Justin’s sister’s family on
Memorial Day to Twin Falls, the same hike Justin went on last month with
Abigail and Carly.
After our failed attempt previously (see below) we
came prepared with fruit snacks to lure Katie into the backpack.

She had no objections once she realized how relaxing
and fun it was to be hauled around – she did object though when part way
through the hike Justin handed her over to ride on Uncle Darin’s back so he
could have a break. After a few
minutes of pleading with Justin to take her back she calmed down and did great
the rest of the day regardless of who was carrying her.
It had been raining off and on all day, but we
were lucky that during our three mile hike we didn’t feel a drop.
