Living in a relatively rural
area we have lots of opportunities for fresh produce. Somehow we missed strawberry season this year and it was
looking iffy whether we’d find a time to pick raspberries as well. Thankfully, we were able to go last
Saturday morning (July 19th).
We still have a good supply of
raspberry jam so we were only going to pick enough to eat that day and then
freeze some. But look at these
berries!
How can you not picking more
and more and more? They were so
big and delicious we couldn’t help but keep filling our baskets (and tummies).
We ended up picking over 16
pounds of raspberries!
We couldn’t pass up an
opportunity to enjoy a few fresh berries atop a little homemade waffle
love! Yum, Yum!
