In case you
missed it – Friday marked three years we’ve been in our house and I thought it
would be fun to look back on the changes we have made since we moved in. We still have much to do, but it’s been
fun for me to see some of these before/after shots and see the progress we have
made.
Even though this house is much
bigger than our Auburn home we struggled to find places to put ‘stuff’ when we
moved here. We had put in closet
systems, built-ins, and lots of garage storage in our Auburn house and so we
had to start over in that regard.
Our laundry room came with cabinetry under the sink (love having a sink
in the laundry room); however, the opposite wall with the washer and dryer was
bare.
(March 2011 – May
2012)
In May of 2012 we ordered
cabinetry from an outlet in Seattle that was the same brand, style, and color
as our existing cabinetry. We had
so much construction going on our street that I just snagged the carpenter
working on the new houses and asked if he’d install them for us. He did an awesome job and at an even more
awesome price.
