OUR HOME - the entry niche

In case you missed it – Friday marked three years we’ve been in our house and I thought it would be fun to look back on the changes we have made since we moved in.  We still have much to do, but it’s been fun for me to see some of these before/after shots and see the progress we have made.

Ok, so our next project probably doesn’t warrant it’s own post, but even hanging a picture is a significant step for us me and this is a collection of pictures so here goes…Our entry way has a large niche perfect for displaying pictures or artwork. 

(March 2011 – August 2011) 

Justin was anxious to get pictures hung as soon as we moved in.  It took longer than he’d have liked, but less than 5 months after we’d moved in we hung a collection of family photos in the niche. 

(July 2011)  Finding the right arrangement

We’ve swapped out some of the pictures since then and painted the entry, but the overall configuration has stayed the same. 

(January 2013 – January 2014)

We’d love to have a bench here and swap out the rug for something bigger more fun.  Eventually we’d like to buy a large piece of artwork to hang here instead and move the family photos, but I highly doubt we’ll be looking at artwork anytime soon.
