This was Abigail’s second year playing volleyball.
Tryouts and practices begin the first day of school and Abigail was again
placed on the varsity team. The
middle school has a short season, they practice for a few weeks and then there
are eight season games (two games per week with practices on the non-game days). Her final game was on October 15,
ending the season with a 7-1 record.
Her team improved so much this year – I’m excited to see what these
girls can do next year {in high school?!?!}
This is the only team picture we have – a picture
of a blurry picture that Abigail took on her phone.
It was a great year for Abigail and she continues to develop into a strong player – she spent half the season as a setter and the other half as a hitter. She was awarded MVP for the year so I guess that says something :)
