Annual Bike Rodeo

Saturday, June 7th was the annual Tanner Jeans Bike Rodeo – I can’t believe we’ve been to this event four times already.  We’ve learned a few things over the years and know that it’s best to get there right as it starts to avoid long lines.  There was a bit of drama with kids heading down on their bikes without Justin, but we all made it to the event safe and sound.

We decided to first get Drew, Katie, and Jason new helmets.

Then the kids maneuvered through the safety courses.

While Justin and the kids ate lunch Drew and I waited in the face painting line.  The face painting at this event is incredible, but the lines are always long.  Perhaps next year this will be the first place we head to.  Abigail had a basketball game that afternoon so she decided it wouldn’t be worth getting her face painted.

When the lady was done Katie still didn’t budge – it almost looked like she’d fallen asleep

Jason went scary last year (against my wishes) and decided to try for another big reaction and go that route again.  I really don’t like seeing his sweet little face transformed into something so evil looking.

He loved it though and thankfully it washes off easily

Carly and her friend Chloe decided to be twinners

Katie and Jason played on the inflatables and we ate and then ate some more before heading home.
