Family Pictures

Oh, how I hate family pictures!  The coordinating of scheduling it, then the overwhelming task of needing to find clothing for seven people that doesn’t look too matchy-matchy, but still looks ok together.  Then there seems to always be some concern over the weather.  None of my kids are natural smilers in photos so we never know if we’ll even get a single shot that we all look somewhat normal in.  We skipped pictures last year so we were overdue for an update.  We had them taken by the same photographer we’ve used since Jason was a baby.  She came up to Snoqualmie two years ago to take them for us so we trekked down to her in Buckley this year.  There are lots of different textural buildings in the small town so we went that route instead of out in nature.  Drew was not at all cooperative, but thankfully, we still ended up with some great photos.  I used this first one on our Christmas card.  My favorite part of it is Drew’s little hand around my neck.  I’m going to miss that.
