Another full day at the pool
followed by an enjoyable evening at the Old Lahaina Luau. We originally thought just me, Abigail,
and Carly would go, but in the end we decided to take the whole family. Justin and I went to this particular
Luau back in 2006 and had a great time.
Justin especially remembers all the yummy specialty drinks they
offered. As you enter the
grounds you are greeted with a fresh lei and a mai tai (fruit drink for us
non-drinkers). All the drinks and
food you can eat are included in the price so we tried plenty. Our favorite drink was the lava flow,
which had a thick slushy-like consistency.
Before dinner we walked around
the grounds. Justin bought Abigail
and Carly a bracelet as a souvenir.
The girls each got a fresh
flower pinned in their hair.
Abigail and Carly tried a traditional
Hawaiian dance with sticks.
This past Sunday they recreated the dance at home with handfuls of spaghetti :)

Dinner was delicious – we ate
til we couldn’t eat any more and then we had dessert and watched the show.
It was such a fun way to spend
our final night in Hawaii and I’m so glad we decided to share it with the whole
family.
