The girls have been in need of
haircuts for awhile now, but wanted to wait until after basketball season
was over so they could pull it back into a ponytail when they were playing. I took them to my hair stylist on
Saturday night and we all got spruced up.
Abigail hadn’t had her hair cut
in over a year. She pulled it back
into a ponytail or braid(s) 99.9% of the time. She’s always had natural curls, but she’s unwilling to
put in the time and effort to style it.
She wants fast and easy. We
straightened her hair a few weeks ago – I can’t believe how long it was. She has very fine hair and her ends
were pretty dry - we were both ready to hack it off. I love having her curls back!
Carly has been growing out her
bangs so we gave her a few layers to help blend them in and cut off a bit of
length to even things out. Carly
has very thick, straight hair, but she is always braiding it or putting it in
curls to mix things up.
It was already after 9pm when
we were all done getting beautified, but instead of heading home we decided to
go to Red Robin for a late night snack – then, of course, since it was after
10pm we HAD to pick up half-price Krispy Kremes for Sunday breakfast.
