Carly had her overnight band trip over the last weekend in
April. They traveled to Ellensburg
and participated in a clinic with the band director from Central Washington
University. They and had lots of
time on campus and played a scavenger hunt and did some other musical related
activities. A highlight for Carly
was getting ice-cream at Winegar’s.
They spent the night at a ranch in Cle Elum where according
to Carly they played games, ate and slept. Apparently there was 2 acres of grass for the students to
enjoy.
The next day they toured Wild Horse Wind Facility which is
basically all those windmill-ish towers that generate electricity.
Then it was back to CWU for some more musically stuff then
home. Fun that she got to enjoy
the trip with this fun group of girls.
