Jason’s birthday morning activity of choice was to
play Settlers of Catan. I’m a
gamer, but playing with a couple youngins that are still learning the game took
quite a bit of patience. We had to
take a couple breaks for dessert-making, showers, and such – then we left
mid-game to meet Justin for Jason’s birthday lunch at Red Robin.
After lunch we quickly hit up Costco and then we were
back at home in game mode.
Drew wanted to nap in Jason’s bed. At 6pm I realized he was still snoozing
and went in and woke him up. This
kid is still the best sleeper.
Justin brought home pizza for dinner and then Jason
decided he wanted to watch “Meet the Robinsons” as a family.
It seems that the girls will be at camp over
Jason’s birthday most years. We
missed them.
Abigail bought Jason some fun Seahawks socks and
candy for his birthday which was super thoughtful.
Drew was super pumped about the new socks too!
Several weeks ago one of the T-Mobile Tuesday
promos was a credit at the MLB.com website. Justin used the credit to order Jason a new Mariners t-shirt
for his birthday.
Jason’s dessert of choice was mint brownies – yum!
