COVID Day 65 – Saturday, May 16

Katie made breakfast this morning for the family.  From-scratch waffles with fresh strawberries.  We started the day with zero plan or intentions so guess how today went?  Nothing really remarkable or noteworthy.  I finished editing photos, watched a movie with K&D and helped JKD find Legos (we still have so many lego sets to make).  Jason was able to get the lawn mowed this morning before the rain set in and then he vegged with an audiobook and movie until he was kicked off and then he moped around all depressed-like untilbedtime.  Justin went to Costco to get new tires on the corolla and A&C tuned into youth conference which was being held on zoom.  I know that was a disappointment for the girls not to have a fun weekend away with the youth from our stake.  K&D drew slips from the Summer Boredom Buster Jar which resulted in Katie baking mint brownies in the evening into bedtime.  We ended up ordering pizza from Dominos around 7:30pm when dinnertime had past and we had no plans for an actual meal.

No pictures from today, but his gem popped up today – five years ago!

Love that kid and we still love that cheese!

  • May 16: Confirmed cases in Washington state – 18,433 with 1,001 deaths.  Governor Inslee announced yesterday that providing contact information at restaurants will be voluntary – phew!
